Valentine's Day Wedding at the Green Mountain Inn

Scott and Patricia celebrated their wedding on Valentine's Day after a long-distance relationship spanning half the east coast. Scott, a native Vermonter and his Valentine Patricia from Atlanta, Georgia have been traveling back and forth. Patricia fell in love with the idea of a winter destination wedding and Stowe became the perfect spot. The Green Mountain Inn located in the heart of Stowe made for the perfect setting for the destination wedding. The Country Inn Ceremony was photographed by Kathleen Landwehrle.

The guide’s travel experts research inns and hotels throughout New England and their selections are based on a variety of criteria including level of hospitality, quality of accommodations, customer service, amenities and dining choices.

Over 25,000 readers cast ballots each year based on a range of factors including quality of service, accommodations, dining, location, activities and facilities. Visit our Health Club between 1:00 – 3:00 on Sunday. Sample chair massage, foot massage, massage for your hands, or massage for your head and neck. Our skilled therapists will be available to answer your questions.

Monday 10/25
Lunchtime Chair Massage
From noon to 1:00, chair massage will be available in the upstairs lobby of the Inn. It’s complimentary!

Tuesday 10/26
Foot Massage Workshop
7 – 8 pm. Come on your own, or bring a friend! Learn simple ways to rejuvenate your tired feet at the end of a long day.

Wednesday 10/27
Self-Massage for De-Stressing, Techniques and Tools
7 – 8 pm. Common household items (tennis balls, rolling pins, etc.) can do wonders for an aching back, sore shoulders, and more. Just bring yourself, wear comfortable clothing, and get ready to feel better!
