As the Sun sets a little earlier and the
birdsong begin to quiet, anyone visiting Vermont knows the beautiful foliage
season is right around the corner! The Sugar Maples are in full “bloom”. The
beautiful scarlet and gold leaves glow high above the green valleys of grass,
while bright orange pumpkins line the streets of town. Stowe blossoms with true
autumn spirit and welcomes all visitors to come enjoy the natural beauty of
Vermont during foliage.

How We Conserve Energy at GMI!
The Green Mountain Inn has taken measurable steps towards a
greener future. Join us in helping to leave a smaller carbon footprint in
today’s world. The Hospitality Council Division of the Vermont Chamber of
Commerce has named us a “Green Hotel in the Green Mountain State” as we intend
to uphold our “Green” standards and help the State of Vermont remain
sustainable.
The Green Mountain Inn takes pride in our efforts in
building a sustainable future. Locally grown products are a huge part of
Vermont’s agricultural business and also allow us to save emissions through
transportation of our foods. We also offer, in-room recycling, composting, and
of course the option of not washing you’re towels and linens everyday to
consume energy. We believe any contribution, large or small can make a
difference in our beautiful State of Vermont and around the World! See for
yourself how we can help make a difference!
